In order to carry out the spirit of the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in Colleges and Universities in the new era, we should steadily promote the informationization of education.0 Action plan, the implementation of the "Code for the Construction of Digital Campuses in Colleges and Universities (Trial)" (Education Letter (2021) No. 14) related to vigorously promoting the positive development of information literacy training requirements in colleges and universities, 2024 will continue to hold the sixth National Financial Universities Information Literacy Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "competition")。The competition is sponsored by the National Library and Information Committee of Universities of Finance and Economics, guided by the Library and Information Work Steering Committee of higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, and hosted by Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics。

In order to promote the improvement of information literacy of our university students and cultivate their information awareness and ability of information retrieval, analysis and utilization, the library and the Academic Affairs Office jointly held the "Sixth National Information Literacy Competition of Finance and Economics Universities - Tianjin University of Commerce Selection Competition".

I. Competition theme, Competition purpose and competition object

Information search, knowledge discovery and value creation

Purpose of the competition:

1.To promote the integration of the concepts and skills of information literacy into the teaching and research of national finance and economics universities;

2.Cultivate college students' information consciousness, information skills and information sharing ability;

3.Enhance college students' learning and attention to information literacy;

4.Strengthen publicity and promotion of library resources and services。

All students of Tianjin University of Commerce。

2. Content of the competition

The basic principles and basic knowledge of information retrieval, the use of Chinese and foreign database resources and retrieval skills, the acquisition and utilization of various academic information, and other digital resource services in libraries, etc。

Three, the competition time

The competition will be launched from March 2024 and is expected to end in May. It will be organized and implemented in two stages: the selection competition of participating universities and the national finals。

Our school's selection is divided into preliminary and final two stages。

Preliminary round: March 18, 2024 to April 10, 2024

5. Award setting

According to the total results of the school competition, there will be 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and several outstanding awards。The winner of the final round will receive a prize, and the winner of the final round will receive a certificate and corresponding prizes。

Those who perform well in the competition will be selected to represent the school to participate in the national finals of the "Sixth National Information Literacy Competition for University Students of Finance and Economics" held in Lanzhou in mid-to-late May 2024.The winners of the finals can obtain corresponding credits according to the Regulations on Obtaining Credits of Competition and Scientific Research for Undergraduates of Tianjin University of Commerce: 3 credits for the first prize, 2 credits for the second prize, and 1 credit for the third prize。The final award certificate was issued by the Higher Finance Education Branch of China Higher Education Association。

Preliminary Competition schedule:

① Competition format: online answer

③ Question type setting: The questions in this section are objective questions, including single choice, multiple choice and right or wrong judgment questions three types of questions, answer time is 90 minutes, full score 100 points。

Final schedule:

① Competition format: report writing and PPT making. The final questions will be prepared by the expert committee to test students' information literacy, financial literacy and academic literacy. Participants will complete the search report and make PPT within 12 hours according to the questions。

(2) Show and report, the report time is 5 minutes, and the evaluation team will score on the spot。
